  • Operation Eyesight Universal: Operation Eyesight Universal (OEU) is an international charitable organization that started in Canada and has programmes in Kenya, India, Ghana and Zambia. In Kenya, OEU works collaboratively with government, communites and other stakeholders to promote access to eye-care and eliminate preventable blindness in Rift Valley. OEU is currently implementing the Seeing is Believing Phase V (SiB V) project. Among other forms of support, under this project, OEU is to support Huruma Sub-County Hospital to set up an optical shop.T
  • The Fred Hollows Foundation
  • KILIMANJARO BLIND TRUST AFRICA (KBTA). An Organization registered under Kenya Society Act and outlined their core function that includes
    • Procurement and provision of New Perkins Braille Machines,
    • Support of teacher training for Braille users and deaf blind,
    • Braille Repair and Maintenance and University Loan program.
    • The Kilimanjaro Blind Trust biggest impact is helping all of Africa’s Blind Children have access to Braille and Braille education throughout their education.
  • National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPWDs): The National Council for Person with Disabilities was established to empower and coordinate statutory organizations working for persons with disabilities, welfare organizations and NGOs in the disability sector. One of the intended beneficiaries of devolved resources via the NCPWDs is supposed to be KSB yet KSB continue to struggle with administrative and programme resources despite running programmes on behalf of the NCPWDs
