Case load management guidelines were prepared in collaboration with the Ministry of Education were shared with the EARCs in the 47 counties for implementation.
KSB supported the following counties with learning equipments and materials Turkana, Bomet, Nakuru, Taita Taveta, Machakos, Coast, Baringo, Nairobi, Kisii, Meru, and Tranzoia. We had projected to serve 10 counties. Other institutions include Asumbi TTC, Turkana Integrated primary, St. Oda Secondary, Tranzoia Integrated Program, Asian Community, NCPWDs, Universities: Kisii, Chuka, University of Nairobi –Kikuyu campus, Taita Taveta, Egerton.
KSB was instrumental in drafting of a memorandum that was released to KNEC on issues of coding of candidates with Low vision and Total Blindness, Extra time, Brailed Mathematical Tables, grading and classification of candidates with visual impairment
Posting of Teachers in integrated schools – KSB, KISE, Directorate of Quality Assurance and Standards and Directorate of Secondary and Tertiary had a meeting with TSC officials to discuss Staffing needs with TSC and the need to post more teachers to integrated schools
KSB with other stakeholders in the sector is spearheading formation of the Braille Authority of Kenya
KSB continued to empower Learners with visual impairment on Adaptive Computer Training at the Centre of Adaptive Technology (CAT)
KSB continued to support corporates with transcribed materials

In 2015, the following schools and colleges participated in Mt. Longonot climb: Kilimani Pri-Sch, Aquinas Sec Sch (integrated), Muthaiga Primary (integrated) Korara Integrated, Kenya Institute for Special Education (KISE), Daystar University, Zetech University, Egerton University. Corporates involved included: Faulu, KISE, Heritage, Gulf Bank, coca Cola and IRA. The Chairman of KSB Mr. Sitati also graced this event
KSB with other partners and stakeholders including Portland cement, SOPVID, CBM, NCPWDS, Thika School for the blind, Standard Media Group commemorated the international white cane day through a Blind Walk activity. The Chief Justice and the President of the Supreme Court Dr. Willy Mutunga flagged off the event and participated in the walk
